Grabado junto a la voz de Sune Rose Wagner, de The Raveonettes, «Your Love Walks Alone», tercer single extraído del nuevo álbum de Trentemøller, se descubre una canción de desamor de tintes góticos, construida a base de electrónica -fronteriza entre lo digital y lo analógico- y una maraña de distorsión de corte industrial.
«Es un retrato del amor más puro que se va apagando lentamente, y de cómo te afecta en esos momentos en los que te das cuenta de que te están “reemplazando”», explica Wagner.
Recorded with singer Sune Rose Wagner, “Your Love Walks Alone”, the third single taken from Trentemøller’s new, untitled album, is a gothy torch song built from layers of industrial-sized fuzz.
“A depiction of pure love slowly winding down and how it affects you in those moments where you realise you’re being ‘replaced’,” says Wagner.

“Swerve” es el segundo single extraído del nuevo álbum de Trentemøller -sin título- y es también una contundente carta de presentación: este nuevo corte irrumpe con una descarnada avalancha sonora para añadir un componente desorientador que luego se mantendrá a lo largo de todo el disco.
Grabado junto a la cantante Sakura, nacida en Hong Kong y afincada en Viena, el tema nos sumerge de lleno en la inmediatez visceral del danés, combinando el vaivén de las guitarras con enormes oleadas de ruido superpuesto. Un verdadero tsunami que juega con el contraste entre tensión y belleza. Un paisaje cada vez más envolvente y difícil de descifrar.
“Swerve” is the second single taken from Trentemøller’s new, untitled album and its powerful opener, crashing into searing walls of sound to add a disorientating edge that persists throughout.
Recorded with Hong Kong-born, Vienna-based singer Sakura, the track draws you into the gut-feeling immediacy of Trentemøller, wedding a wave-like guitar glide to tsunamisized swells of multi-layered noise.

“Terrified” es el primer adelanto del nuevo álbum de Trentemøller, a publicarse en noviembre de este año, sin título. Lo que sí puedo asegurar ya es que será uno de los momentos más luminosos y cautivadores del disco. Esta canción combina una letra que transita entre el pensamiento en estado puro con la voz etérea y reconfortante de Jonas Bjerre (Mew), quien afronta de lleno y sin tapujos el espectro del miedo.
«Creo que, a veces, cuando sueñas con cosas que te asustan o te generan inquietud, es tu mente la que realmente intenta prepararte para cualquier escenario posible; una forma de procesar catástrofes que nunca han ocurrido y que quizá nunca lleguen a suceder», explica Bjerre.
“Terrified” is the first single taken from Trentemøller’s new, untitled album. One of the album’s pristine peaks, “Terrified” pairs stream-of-consciousness lyrics with spirit- lifting singing from Mew’s Jonas Bjerre, who tackles the spectre of fear head-on.
“I think sometimes when you dream about things that make you fearful and uneasy, it’s your mind trying to prepare you for any scenario, like you’re processing catastrophes that have not and may not ever happen,” he says.
